CoaVAR Leadership

The CoaVAR Board of Directors is comprised of dedicated volunteers, both agents and brokers, who give of their time and energy to ensure the membership succeeds in the industry. This is primarily accomplished through regulatory and legislative advocacy, ensuring reasonable zoning regulation, educating legislators and developers on the NAR Smart Growth Principles, and consistent monitoring of city councils, state assembly and the US congress actions towards  private property-related rights. The board strives to bring quality education, consisting of licensure requirements, on the job training, and national designations and certifications. The board also proudly provides professional standards administration and enforcement, assisting both the the public and the member.

The Board of Directors consists of six (6) officers including the Chief Executive Officer and ten (10) directors with 6 directors whose brokerage is in the Southside of Hampton Roads and 4 directors whose  brokerage is in the Peninsula area of Hampton Roads.
